Mum's Day Out

I arranged for my mother to be taken to a GP appointment followed by a short outing to the shopping mall with Steady Companion, and I honestly wasn't sure how she would respond. Mum is quite critical by nature and often sceptical about anyone coming into her routine or helping her in this way.

From the very beginning, the experience was handled with such calm professionalism that even Mum seemed to soften. The companion was punctual, respectful, and quietly confident, which helped put her at ease during the GP visit. Afterward, they went on to the shopping mall, something Mum had not done in a long time.

To my surprise, she actually enjoyed herself. She commented on how pleasant and patient the companion was, and even admitted it had been a good day out. That is not something she says easily.

As her daughter, I felt a huge sense of relief and gratitude. It was reassuring to see her safe, engaged, and treated with genuine kindness. I am very thankful to Steady Companion for making the whole experience so positive.
